Out of concern for the recent crime spree on Hickam AFB and in our own neighborhood, we have decided to start a Neighborhood Watch.
Representatives from our neighborhood attended the Safety & Security Meeting hosted by Hickam Communities and we are able to receive some very good information to share. A member of the base security force is working with us to help organize an official Neighborhood Watch group. We will keep you posted on details through our Facebook page and via email.

Bunco!
What is Bunco?
Basically, Bunco is a fast paced, very simple and incredibly fun dice game that is hosted in players’ home each month. We start with dinner at 6:30 (provided by the host) and then we begin play around 7:00pm and end around 9:30pm. You don’t need to know how to play Bunco to join the fun. It is very easy to learn and there are plenty of ladies more than happy to guide you though. By round two you will have the game down and be hooked. It is that much fun!
Bunco is a great way to get out of the house, let your hair down, and have time just for us. It is a guaranteed stress reducer and a great way to get to know the ladies in the neighborhood. You don’t have to commit to the whole year to join the group. Just sign up and check it out. If you want to be a regular great, if not you can be a sub or just bow out. No problem, no pressure. This is all for us. Its totally up to you how you want to be involved.

Some of our neighbors have expressed interest in starting a neighborhood Scrapbooking, Stamping, and Card Making Group. This is a GREAT way to connect, share talents and ideas, enjoy each others company--and most of all, get all those precious memories recorded. Walkers
We are still receiving requests for a neighborhood walking group. If this is something you would like to participate in please send us an email and let us know if you would rather do morning or evening. Yes, we still have people walking at 5:30am CRAZY! Of course a later time is totally okay and great for moms with strollers who want to get out and chat with other moms. It sure makes the walk a lot more fun!
