Onizuka Neighbors is now on Facebook! 

With the opening up of the final phases of Onizuka Village and all the move-ins ad move-outs, our Neighborhood List  has become extremely difficult to maintain.  So, we have created a facebook page just for everyone Onizuka Village.  This way we can all communicate and keep up to date on everything happening in and around our village without having to keep up with a huge email list. 

If you are not on facebook but would like to keep in the loop, sends us your email and we will add you to the Onizuka email list and make sure you receive any updates. 

We will continue to update and manage our Services List.  That is priceless and well worth keeping up with.  The Services List lets everyone know who is available right in our own neighborhood for music lessons, hair cutting, tutoring, home-based businesses like Pampered Chef & Scentsy, and of our course our most highly requested Babystitters List.  :)

Bloctoberfest Block Party!

Look forward to seeing all of you this Saturday for Blocktoberfest! 

WHO: All Onizuka Village Neighbors
WHERE: Lewahana Loop (just look for the bounce castle)
WHEN: Sat, 1 Oct, 1400 til whenever
WHAT we'll have: Bounce castle, roast pig, bratwurst and hot dogs, 1/2 keg Octoberfest, soft drinks and kids drinks.

Please bring $10 per adult (to help defray costs above), and a side dish or dessert per family.  We have some tables and chairs, but if anyone has tables, chairs, or pop up shade they can bring that would help.

Onizuka Octoberfest Block Party!

There will be an Onizuka Village Octoberfest Block Party this Saturday, October 1st,  and we would like to invite all our neighbors to come and join us!  The Festivities start at 1:00pm and will be held at the Lewahana Loop area of the neighborhood. 

There will be Roast Pig, an inflatable bounce Castle, German Beer and a WHOLE LOT of Neighborhood FUN! 

 The Absheres and Milohnics are purchasing the items above.  Everyone else just brings a side dish or dessert and $5-$10 per family to help pay for the items above.  Exact amount to pitch in will depend on the cost of the items and how many of us plan to attend.

We will be pretty much shutting down the street for the day, and use Octoberfest as a reason to celebrate.

Neighbors List

Meet Your Neighbors!  If you have been wondering who your children are playing with, which house they are at or who the parents are, then the Onizuka Neighbors list is just what you need.  Our Neighbors List includes the names and addresses of the families in our neighborhood as well as parents names, names and ages of children, and estimated move out date.  We also list any services or skills our neighbors may have such as babysitting, music lessons, etc.  Imagine going right around the corner for piano lessons or having quality babysitters within walking distance.  So check out our Neighbors List and get connected!  If you would like to join the list, please go to the "Join the List" link and follow the instructions.  Welcome to the Neighborhood!
